High School Diploma Program

This program is ideal for students who prefer to complete their high school diploma by earning required academic credits through in-person or online coursework.

Eligibility Requirements

To enroll in the High School Credit Diploma Program (HSCDP), students must meet the following eligibility and registration criteria:

Must be at least 17 years old at the time of withdrawal from high school (17-year-old students must register with a parent or guardian present)
Must be officially withdrawn from a day high school program with the appropriate paperwork completed (If under 18, the withdrawal form must be signed by a parent or guardian, indicating the destination as Adult Education)
Must not hold a U.S. high school diploma or GED

* Students must attend a minimum of two classes per week, per class
* Students must successfully complete and pass the Edmentum/Apex class AND have a minimum of 48 hours of in-person, seat time per class to receive credit
* In-person attendance is mandatory

How much does the GED test cost?

All test-takers who are 21 years of age and older and a non-veteran must pay a $13 registration fee to take the GED® test. This fee includes the cost of the diploma. Only veterans and test-takers under the age of 21 are exempt from this fee.
